Which UK TV programme made you think "How the f*ck is this even allowed to be on TV?!"

Naked attraction for me. I still how shocked we were when we first chanced upon it one night. But gotta admit, it did become one of my favorite things to watch after getting home from work each night.

TIL a 1949 BBC memo forbade employees to use desk lamps unless the main room light was on. The head of the Variety department believed that a man working at a desk in a confined space with only the light from a low-wattage lamp would nurture furtive ideas and produce degenerate programme material.

What TV programme is the best representation of 'mid 90s Britain'?

I'm just watching an episode of Big Breakfast, and the anarchic vibe and bright colours everywhere really feels like an injection of pure mid-90s Britain. Is there a programme that really captures what the UK was like at that time (1993 to 1997) more than Big Breakfast?
For anyone interested, this is the episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNiFnwC-qXs

As of yesterday 48 people have died in South Korea after receiving the seasonal flu vaccine. Singapore now also halts flu vaccination programme.

As someone who works in a healthcare setting, my employer was mandating the flu vaccine for all staff.
Recently emerged that 48 people have died from the regular flu vaccine in South Korea:
https://www.straitstimes.com/asia/east-asia/south-korea-sticks-to-flu-vaccine-plan-after-deaths-rise-to-48
I was the only one in my dept to delay taking the vaccine. Guess who was justified.
Now Singapore halts the flu vaccination programme for health workers after fears about the rising death toll in Korea.
Vaccines are not safe. Even ones that a supposedly tested for many years.

I’ve just realised that a lot of people are really good programmers simply because they’ve had to work through so many problems and succeeded.

I’ve been feeling down.
I started learning web dev about 4 months ago and have been kicking myself that I’m not fluent in JavaScript yet but I’ve finally started to realise that the people I look up to in the industry were at the same point as me at one stage, they just persisted after facing challenge after challenge.
You literally become better every time you encounter a problem and you solve it.
Now there’s no way I’m going to stop.

How exactly do programmers know how to code?

Let me elaborate, I can go on stack Overflow and search up my problems on there, but how do the people who answer know the answer? Like I’m assuming they got it from their teachers and or other resources. So now the question is how did those teachers/resources know how to do it? Is there like a whole code book that explains each and every method or operator in that specific coding language? I’m guessing the creators of the language had rules and example on how it all works, right? This probably seems like a dumb question but I’m still new to programming.
